It’s E’s 3 yr clean time anniversary & I put a note on our bedroom door to use our master bathroom & not the one in the hall bc as soon as u go into the hall u see all my balloons & stuff…& I’m grabbing a tissue & I hear him shuffle to the door, pause, then shuffle into our bathroom 😂 I was worried he’d b so tired he wouldn’t see it!! Mission accomplished 🎉 now just to finish bloons & get coffee & accoutrements 🙈🎀🍦💘🔮💒💓

My clinic called me back n I got my suboxone, I got 2 celebrate my bday wit the ppl I lov the most in this world, I’ve shaken off the strange feelings of loneliness & displacement, n I feel not so bad & ugly as I’ve been b4… this year rly could hold good things 4 me. I just have 2 b open 2 receiving them.

This yr we r after real world poetic success with real world connections & book deals! This yr we r gaining legitimacy in communties & going 2 book readings & asking how we can help out our favorite poets. This yr we r pushing past insecurity & fear to find confidence in our ability is on the other side! This yr we won’t b invisible 2 the right ppl, we will abandon online validation for connection in our everyday. This yr, no one is gonna copy/steal our style, our language, our poetry, & get away with it. This yr our name will run wild. This yr we’re gonna allow ourselves 2 want, 2 dream. We r gonna work thru what holds us back. We r gonna b somebody so undeniable that doubt will never displace us again.
